Not so with the Sony KV-27FV15, which maintains its focus and sharpness from corner to corner due to the advanced Trinitron WEGA flat tube. The tube minimizes glare from virtually any angle, while also employing a magnetic quadra pole to reduce beam spot distortion and a three-line digital comb filter to lessen dot crawl and blurred edges between colors. The resulting video images are sharp and colorful, whether broadcast through digital cable, a satellite box, a DVD player, a game console, or a good old-fashioned VCR. Other picture enhancements derive from the velocity scan modulation feature, which creates refined edges around the objects on the screen, and the combination of Dynamic Focus and Dynamic Picture circuitry.
People who are easily conflicted over which program to watch will enjoy the dual-tuner picture-in-picture, which lets viewers watch more than one channel at a time (or even freeze one program while watching another).
